My weekly live Zoom classes are led by a highly experienced secondary school teacher with a proven track record of helping students achieve their highest possible grades.
Each session lasts one hour, providing focused and effective learning designed to maximise student success.
All classes are focused on covering the curriculum for AQA English Language GCSE. Classes are limited to eight students maximum per group.

What’s Included with my Weekly Classes?
Weekly Live Lessons
All my classes take place via Zoom. Performing well In GCSE English requires consistent effort and I tailor my classes to encourage weekly progression and improvement amongst our students.
8 Students Per Class
My classes are limited in number. There are no more than eight students per class maximum. Students are active during the class and receive feedback in every class.
Exam-Focused Teaching
I cover all the main aspects of the AQA English Language GCSE curriculum including vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension skills and creative and transactional writing.
Weekly Notes
Students are provided with exam focused notes on a weekly basis to support what was learned in class and to assist them in their revision and understanding of the topics covered.
Regular Parent Updates
Parents are regularly updated on their child's progress via WhatsApp and email. Parents are welcome to contact me if they have a query or concern about their child's progress,
Peer Learning
Students benefit from peer learning while also receiving individual attention when required. Group interaction is encouraged so students, in addition to learning from a highly experienced teacher, also benefit massively from engaging with their peers.
Homework
A small amount of homework is given each week to reinforce what is taught in class. Feedback is provided to support student progress and learning.
Assessments
Assessments occur at Christmas and Easter, with additional evaluations in May. Parents receive written feedback on areas for improvement.
One Month Minimum
Students are encouraged to attend at least a month of classes in order to see an improvement in their reading and writing skills.

I’m a qualified English teacher and former GCSE examiner with more than 21 years of teaching experience.
I’ve helped more than 1000 students prepare for their GCSE English exams, and I know how confusing the subject can feel without clear guidance.
My approach focuses on showing students exactly how exams work and how to answer questions step-by-step. When students understand the process, their confidence grows — and so do their results.

All lesson notes are uploaded to Google Drive, along with homework tasks so students can catch up before the next session.
Is the teaching exam-board specific?
Yes. Groups are for the AQA Exam board
What is the refund policy?
Payments are non-refundable once made.
Can we join mid-term?
Yes. Students can join by joining our weekly class subscription. This is automatically converted to a monthly class subscription on the 1st Monday of the next calendar month.
Is 1-to-1 tutoring available?
No. All support is delivered through structured small group classes.
